Is there a way Presidential polls are manipulated to such a degree that it appears that 35 percent of American citizens are utterly brain-dead? I'm not being facetious or trying to make a point, I really am curious (and concerned). Thoughts?

We've got 25% of the population in the "I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue" cult & 5% in the "all I care about is low taxes" group.
So, 35% approval means 65 of the other 70 disapprove.
That's nears 93% of everybody else.
35% is actually a brutally bad number.
