GOP lawmaker breaks from Trump with grim warning about his 'legacy'

It will be the Republican Party's legacy.

U.S. Representative Don Bacon of (R-NE) broke from Donald Trump on Saturday with a grim reminder about what the congressman says could be Trump's "legacy."

Bacon, who has spoken out about Trump's attitude regarding Ukraine and the war Russia has imposed on it, over the weekend weighed in on a recent proposal from the Trump administration to end the brutal foreign war by forcing numerous concessions from the victim nation.

Over the weekend, Bacon took to social media to push back against that plan, posting an image of a wasteland with three distressed eagles and the words, "In the war between Ukraine and Russia, the first to surrender was America."

Although after staying away from it for years, I discovered turkey bacon, which is a pretty good substitute. My breakfast at least five days/week is a sandwich consisting of 1/2 of a St. Pierre hamburger bun, slices of cheese of various varieties, a fried egg, and 1-1/2 strips of Godshall's Turkey Bacon.

Call me boring if you must, but I never tire, and always look forward to this!

Whoops! I forgot to add the egg!
