Trump orders 'reexamination of every Green Card' after National Guard shootings

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-green-card-reexamination/

Joseph B. Edlow, the director of U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement, said that President Donald Trump had ordered his agency to review all Green Card holders "from every country of concern" following the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, D.C.

"At the direction of @POTUS, I have directed a full scale, rigorous reexamination of every Green Card for every alien from every country of concern," Edlow explained in a Thursday post on X.

On Wednesday, USCIS announced that it had stopped "processing of all immigration requests relating to Afghan nationals" after Rahmanullah Lakanwal was named as the primary suspect in the shootings. Lakanwal reportedly traveled to the U.S. after working with the CIA in Afghanistan.

America's toxic gun culture is insane. The more people that have handguns, the more people think they must have one to protect themselves.

in my opinion should be overturned. Just my opinion but I realize that for some reason most Americans think the Second Amendment is sacrosanct, but I think it has made America a much more dangerous place for no reason.

You're calling for States to tell us what we can and can't do, while we're fighting States that are trying to tell us what we can and can't do...abortion for example.

Trump's milking this for all it's worth, making all manner of threats and ginning up more fear and hatred of immigrants, but he still hasn't bothered to visit the hospital and comfort the families of the wounded National Guard members.

Maybe that's a good thing. At least we won't have to see him giving his usual inappropriate thumbs up while wearing that moronic shit eating grin.
