SHitler is now planning to DESTROY the Lincoln Mem Reflecting Pool - call it "Biden Filth"

https://www.newsweek.com/trump-reveals-plan-fix-lincoln-reflecting-pool-11115298

In a post to Truth Social accompanied by a video, the president posted, "This is the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool before Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum and I fix it. Study it hard because you won’t be seeing this Biden filth and incompetence much longer!"

When reached for comment, the Interior Department declined to provide any details about the project, while saying it is "committed to this effort."

Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool: What to Know
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, one of the most recognizable landmarks on the National Mall, was completed in 1923 as part of architect Henry Bacon’s design for the memorial complex honoring President Abraham Lincoln. Stretching nearly 2,000 feet between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, the long, shallow pool was intended to create a dramatic visual corridor that mirrored two of the capital’s most significant monuments. Over the decades, it has become a gathering place for major national events, including the 1963 March on Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech.

The pool has undergone multiple renovations, including a major reconstruction completed in 2012 to modernize its aging infrastructure. The project added a new filtration system and replaced the pool’s original dirt-and-concrete basin, which frequently leaked and had long struggled with water quality problems. Despite periodic closures for maintenance, the Reflecting Pool remains one of Washington’s most visited and photographed sites, symbolizing national reflection and serving as a backdrop for demonstrations, celebrations and public life on the Mall.

But it's convenient for some reason, he's to be the personal supervisor of the work crew or office or coding team.

Just before Thanksgiving they drained the reflecting pool to clean out fallen/rotting leaves, a large-scale algae outbreak, a lot of goose crap and the large growth of algae that all that conveniently converts sunlight, carbon dioxide, water, nitrogen and phosphorus into ever more algae.

Problem's been a while in the making. So it's Biden's fault.

kickbacks from contractors and general grift.

I foresee somehow redoing the pool with 4"x4" gold tiles with a raised "T" (for Trump or Turd or Tinypenis or Terriblechildrapist or whatever) that anyone can purchase and personalize for $100. Bigger tiles available for $1,000. He'll pocket the cash and the tiles will be less than contractor grade, painted gold-ish and available 2 weeks from never.

But in the one we live in, the ruling bodies that were supposed to protect the East Wing were powerless.

I doubt that an agency actually controlled by the executive branch is going to do any better.

The project planning will be kept quiet until we wake up one morning and the news is talking about how the pools are being drained and cement trucks are pulling up. They’ll say “It’s not new construction, just repairs” as the reason paperwork wasn’t filed or public comments allowed.

I agree that a branch as part of the Executive can't do much, but if his destruction was a secret, they can't be held as intentionally powerless. They were LIED TO. CONTINUALLY.

As with everything else he does, in secret or covered up, he's lawless. The NPS could have moved to file a PRO, but it was too late. Everyone in the country was taken by surprise by the felon.

rewriting America's history.

Because he knows that America's history is intertwined with the history of those he wants to demonize, denounce, and ERASE.

Because our history gives testimony to that which he (and those of his ilk) want to DENY.

Just as these edifices and monuments give testimony to that which he'll NEVER measure up to, and to those FAR NOBLER, whom he despises.

The very sight of them, a constant reminder of his UNWORTHINESS to even WALK among them.

So, like America itself, he wants to destroy it ALL, and remake it in his own image.

Newsflash: If these things, their history, what they stand for, mean nothing to you, if our institutions, our diversity, our democracy, our Constitution mean nothing to you, then you can't POSSIBLY 'love America,' mf.

Messing with The Reflecting Pool would also infuriate me.

Why in particular? Well, I've been by it during a few demonstrations.

But more importantly I've been by it during plain fun vacations. On a glorious blue sky, low humidity Summer's day walking towards, and visiting The Lincoln Memorial. Reflecting colors of sunset, and seeing a pair of black swans with vivid red beaks! Finally, the lit George Washington Monument reflected in the pool while visiting The L M at midnight!

Gloriously peaceful, and beautiful experiences. A simple, yet special place. Don't mess with the visuals, bastard!
