IIRC, it costs about 30% less for Medicare patients than for profit patients.

that same 63% could easily have it, but that percent does not vote for Democrats. You can't want medicare for all and vote for Trump an a Republican Congress.

8. We need unity and to win elections.

All of the feel-good, feel-bad, "I'm a sweety pie, and you're a fascist," issues need to be dropped and their voices need to give way to those of the majority. Eyes-es on the prizes. We need to be firmly democratic and firmly nothing else. All our inner brats need a timeout, not indulgence.

The last time we made progress here was during the Obama years. I remember them. Obama went into the lion's den at the "Republican Retreat," and clobbered them. Pelosi was brilliant. The Blue Dog dems (bless them and miss them) gave up their political careers doing the right thing.

Data For Progress polling accuracy, and it would be good to see if other pollsters line up with this.

If this poll is accurate, that 63% support Medicare for all, then what happened in 2016 and 2024, because there was no doubt what would happen if trump became president. It sure doesn't reflect well on the intelligence of the American voter very well, because of what happened in 2016 and 2024.

10. I think Nina Turner is part of the problem

She said something about a shit sandwich. She has lost her local elections because she is an odious person. I don’t think she is one to carry the message about universal healthcare.
