Somewhat of a minor event, but my university received an email from DOGE requiring every syllabus be submitted to their office. As a consequence, every professor was searching old files for past syllabi.

Didn't expect to still be hearing about DOGE, especially here in the free state of Florida.

I guess my syllabus will be used to train some AI...

It isn't anything big for me - I'm small potatoes, but I never expected to actually see an email from a DOGE agency, state or whatever.

It certainly isn't awful - working with undergrads is a dream for me. But as we all know, even R1 universities are being bullied and prodded.
