Trump declaring prosecutions done under Biden's DoJ, such as with Honduras' Hernandez, to be corrupt
is just part and parcel of his overall "Biden's DoJ was weaponized against ME ME ME" bullshit. He desperately wants to paint his convictions as "tainted because Biden".
Pardons like this will also give him some cover for when he eventually pardons Maxwell. He'll be like "Oh, I'm just undoing ALL the unfair political prosecutions of the Biden era, this one is no different from all the others I did before".
