...Georgia's been gerrymandered to the point it's unlikely a Democrat can run a competitive race against any Republican in a U.S. House district. Statewide races are very much turnout dependent, and shenanigans like the lack of machines in Democratic areas and bomb threats that were called in during the 2024 election will occur again.

Many people in the South are put off by Bernie and would not vote for such a candidate. I am left of center here in Illinois, and I would think twice about voting for someone who was billed as a "Bernie" candidate. I am sick to death of Bernie, and I wonder why it's okay to criticize others for being old, but not Bernie.
