(11,763 posts)For all the gobbildygook Bunker said, he did have moments of compassion. Edith's death, for example. Trump has none of that. I hope someday how such a hateful man managed to get elected president not once but twice is revealed.

(733 posts)Who in their right mind doesn't hate him? I just wish I was living in Canada experiencing my mounting rage, and not in the U.S. with family/grand children who will inherit the catastrophic results of his actions/inactions and be tasked with re-constructing what he destroyed. If that will even be possible.

(17,460 posts)Canadians are such nice people. No wonder they hate that creature. I just hope they realize that most of us hate him too.

(89,294 posts)EXCRUCIATINGLY great description!
But Ive gotta admit: the ONE even halfway good about the donald is the ABSOLUTELY EPIC collection of descriptions, observations, insults, quotes, arguments, rebuttals, reviews, and other kinds of commentary that he generates.
Most of it is negative. None of that is the least bit surprising or unexpected.
The ONE OTHER thing even halfway good about the donald is all this negative stuff is and will keep on being noted, quoted, listed, documented, and endlessly analyzed. It aint goin away.
EVER.
As long as anybody alive can still talk about him, whether with flattery or condemnation, subjectivity or objectivity, his name and legacy will not be forgotten. Nor will it fade - until as much time passes as the time between Hitler and now, has. Hell be one for history books of every kind, numbered in the bajillions.
The Donald isnt one to fade away gracefully or go quietly into that good night.
Hes gonna leave a mark.

I remember when Trump came down the escalator in June of 2015 and announced he was running, nobody took him seriously. Huffington Post famously said it would report on his campaign in its comedy section. But he soon became the GOP frontrunner and they had to report on him as front page news. Sadly, fascists benefit from silence.

(17,454 posts)It's appalling that at this late date and with such a record, Trump is still normalized or even lionized by the U.S. media.

(98 posts)Most of The United States of America Hates Trump as well and a large majority of his remaining support is softening rapidly, Trump and his corrupt fraudulent government, perceives it's self as a great success, by all the self dealing gain and retaliation they have been able to use the government for. I really don't think that they grasp , the vast majority of Americans view their first year back in office as a net zero dud, most maga though a year ago they would bragging about how great the roaring new Trump economy was by now and how their overtime wasn't taxed anymore ,also they would finally get to expose all those evil Dems when the Epstein files were released. Nowhere close, quite the opposite,I believe that many of them are starting to realize how the next 3 years are going to go. By that time everyone will hate Trump
