I was reminded today that in the 90s The Dotard was

the basis of a storyline on Sesame Street wherein Joe Pesci played a character named "Ronald Grump."

https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Ronald_Grump_(human)

Ronald Grump was a real estate developer who wanted to destroy all the buildings on Sesame Street to build "Grump Tower."

The Sesame Street residents inform Grump of the many wonderful moments in the neighborhood that have happened over the years, but none of it changes his mind. "If there’s one thing I despise," Grump says, "it's cheap sentiment. Hugs, kiddie television, cute, furry animals..."

Ultimately his plans were foiled when it came out that Oscar's trash can was on city property and Oscar refused to move.

However, Pesci was the second "Ronald Grump" because in the 80s there was a nonhuman grouch-type muppet named Ronald Grump who also tried to build a Grump Tower, that time on Oscar's spot itself.

Anyway...
What is the point of all of this? Only this:

Try to live your life such that a beloved international institution of a children's program does not write multiple storylines with a villain overtly based on you.
