CHARLESTON , S.C. (WCIV) — Representative Nancy Mace is reportedly planning to discuss retiring early from Congress with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who announced her resignation in late November.

New York Times reporter Annie Karni wrote Wednesday that the South Carolina Republican has told those around her she is frustrated with Speaker Mike Johnson and sick of the way he has run the House, primarily with how women have been treated there.

I have realized over the years that people with inconsistent worldviews (MAGA feminist; woke billionaire) do a lot of damage. It was such a con.

One thing to take away from this era is to identify and kick out oxymorons.

It accentuates the accelerating left right asymmetry since we descend into nitpicking on the honest left while these guys cheerfully conflate incompatible ideals and stripmine the place.

As for the honest right (we can’t all be the same) or centre, they will have to figure out how to fix their messes instead of hijacking the left and kicking us Greens out first as they usually do. Greens are never popular.

If half as much ink had been spilt attacking Julian Simon as Paul Ehrlich we wouldn’t be here.
