Prediction: Trump will preemptively pardon Hegseth and Bradley because the system is rigged

The game was rigged from the start. We revere the Founding Fathers, but they baked corruption right into Article II by handing the President an unchecked "get out of jail free" card.

Convicted felon Trump knows that the only way to shield his minions Hegseth and Bradley from future prosecution for murder or manslaughter in a Democratic administration is to simply pardon them before they even get charged. So that is exactly what he will do.

And let’s save the "it was a different era" excuse. That is a total cop-out. These "visionaries" obsessed over checks and balances yet deliberately left this massive loophole wide open?
