What are the Democratic Actions Steps needed to stop the destruction?

DU is an excellent source of identifying all the wrongs, crimes, abuses daily rendered by this Administration....To be honest, I find it hard at times to even scroll/ read DU as we consistently identify the problems but no recourse options to change things...it's a wash, rinse repeat status quo level...

It's just not DU, its most all social media sites...tRump did this, that, with daily, hourly updates of said crimes, abuses and hatred...Yet, action steps fall short of the mark....Leadership on our side seems to tolerate this much better than I can....talking and concerns are cheap....while so many suffer miserably....

So, as not to be a complainer and exposing my depressive thoughts about our Democracy.....I suggest we get out and confront the supporting republican congress members at their office, door steps and protest for change...for them to do their job....

Some how we also need to pressure the media.... they are no longer journalist but are paid propagandist...CBS, MSNBC, FOX, ABC...CNN, etc....they are not doing their jobs either! I essentially boycott them...

There has to be more we can do and our Leadership/ Democrats all, I say all need to be confrontational as well...evoke, demand accountability of this Administrations/ crime family....

There...I got that out...

Expand the Supreme Court to a minimum of 13 seats, and kill the filibuster to do so (this means electing someone besides Janet Mills for senate in Maine), neutralizing the current MAGA majority.

Court expansion (once Dems have the trifecta again) will clear the way for Dem majorities in congress to Ram through legislation restoring lost rights and providing effective governance that benefits the people, without fear of legislation being obstructed in the senate or overturned by the courts.

Moving forward, support for court expansion (and killing the filibuster to do so) must be a litmus test for choosing Democratic nominees.

Dems must reject fearful warnings of “what might the republicans do if we kill the filibuster?” for, if Dems govern effectively, fearlessly and unhesitatingly, voters will reward them with majorities for decades (see FDR and The New Deal), and republicans won’t have a chance at getting the trifecta for a generation or more.

But in 2026, we must elect only Dem representatives and senators who support expansion and killing the filibuster to do so.

Seems a bit unethical to wait for our side to be in total control to do it. Just expand now to 13.

Do you seriously believe the GOP is willing to expand the SCOTUS to 13, when they have a virtual lock on it now?

Your post suggests an ignorance or indifference to reality, and with a screen name like you chose, I am not surprised.

a little hypocritical to claim any kind of moral authority if you're only willing to do such a thing when it stacks the deck in your favor. Or is this a situation if "the ends justify the means"?

...and I can guarantee you the GOP would vote NO on expanding the court. The proposal would be laughed right out of the Senate and House.

It just seems to me you want the Dems to be embarrassed.

They've had full governmental control for 11 months and they not only haven't moved on it, but they haven't even listed it as a priority.
What's your basis for thinking Rs are amenable to such a plan?

There is only one tactic that is a guaranteed win for our side. Money, Money, Money, is the intergalactic language. The regime builder billionaires pay Drumph for special favors. Well we can be regime busters by paying attention to what businesses are paying to kiss the ring. Simply do not spend your hard earned and barely livable money on these people.
