Americans are overwhelmingly alarmed by Trump’s calls to arrest these 6 Democrats for ‘sedition’: New poll

More Americans back the Democratic Congress members who urged U.S. service members to refuse unlawful orders than support President Donald Trump’s claim that those legislators were committing sedition, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll.

The survey found that 46% of Americans approved of the Democrats’ message, while 39% disapproved and 15% were unsure. Americans viewed Trump’s response less favorably, with 26% saying they approved and 59% saying they disapproved, a net approval of -33.

The Economist/YouGov poll’s findings come amid an extraordinary conflict between the president and a group of six Democrats who in November released a joint video calling on service members to “refuse illegal orders” that might be issued by the Trump administration.

In a series of Truth Social posts, Trump accused the Democrats of engaging in “seditious behavior" that was “punishable by death.”

... is simply mind-blowing, and quite revealing about that Republican's relationship with democracy.

is that he actually believes "l'etat c'est moi." Thus, if you cross HIM, you are against America. This is, of course, the largest pile of unadulterated bullshit ever conceived of by a POTUS in a democratic republic but there it is. He needs to be disabused of his beliefs in his own personal imporance.
