So here we are after less than 11 months

and we now have US citizens grabbed off the streets, court orders openly disobeyed, media organizations/individuals targeted for censorship, they are making gross attacks on voting rights and elections, killing people on an accusation without providing due process or evidence, agencies gutted, phony prosecutions of political enemies, foreign aid for food and medicine gutted resulting in deaths in the many thousands, food benefits in the US under attack, health care in the US under attack, ending staffing requirements at nursing homes which will allow a return to the horrors of another time, students denied entry because of political opinions, decimation of science based decision making at FDA and HHS, attacks on reproductive health care, attacks on education, attacks on libraries, attacks on nurses and other professions, open extortion of companies/institutions and individuals, termination of efforts regarding climate change, implementation of de facto allowance for discrimination in hiring, suspension of protections for refugees from war torn countries, suspension of immigration from dozens of countries, attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, destruction of historic buildings without prior review, troops on the streets demanding ID/papers from people, goon squads grabbing women and children off the street, decimation of our historic support for our allies, complete alignment of our foreign policy to suit the desires of Russia, trade wars and open extortion for the personal enrichment of the leader of the US and the list goes on with many more things.

So here we are indeed and now comes the news that they now want to compile a listing of organizations that are "anti-American" and we know how broad that definition will be. We also know they don't just want to label organizations that oppose them as "anti-American" but they want to compile lists of people to apply that label to as well. We can be sure that they will be looking at things like reviewing your social media etc. on an ever larger scale than they already do. Back to the Red Scare days and worse.

We see what they are having our military do that's out in the open like the boat attacks. We see what the ICE-American Gestapo and CBP goon squads are doing on the streets of our cities and towns. What do you think they're having the CIA do around the world that we don't see?

Remember back in the Spring when many of us here began warning about how extreme and how fast they would move? Remember when we said vulnerable people should consider their and their loved ones safety and protection and perhaps relocate if possible? They have already announced recently that passports for US citizens may be restricted due to "security" concerns etc.

Some claimed we were being too extreme in our warnings. Others kept reassuring us that "they (the fascists) wouldn't dare" or "couldn't" do this or that because of the courts etc. Certainly we have to continue to fight in the courts, protest and fight in elections but also remember that a court decision or a law doesn't mean that fascists won't do something. It only means they've been told not to. Those orders will only prevent an action if the fascists comply with the order.

We see the videos of US citizens and others dragged out of cars, sometimes windows smashed in, by the goon squads of ICE-American Gestapo and CBP. That horrifying and forever scarring event happened to them despite court orders about conduct etc. The event still happened to them and even if they are able to sue later remember that the scar remains. We all know what's not "supposed to happen" because of laws and the courts and we also know that despite that these horrendous events happen to people anyway at the hands of these fascist goons.

So here we are indeed. Back in the Spring they hadn't done half of what they accelerated to as we went along. But many of us knew that acceleration was coming and that there is no depth to which these fascists will not go. There is no cruelty or vindictiveness that is too far for them. Where will we be in another 11 months? In the land of the "free".

and as the administration is more and more beholding to these extremist xtians, we'll see it happen. NONE of them believe women are worth the skin they inhabit. And they all hate women. We are the essence of all the evil their minds won't control. That THEY can't keep it in their pants is OUR fault. Of course, after us, I guess the farm animals will have to go, too...

that because pregnancy can permanently damage the health of or kill a woman that sperm should be looked at as a potential hazard and much greater responsibility/liability be placed on the source of that sperm. Yes in a consensual situation it takes two to tango but the results of a pregnancy, good or bad, have never been shared 50/50 and that has needed to change for a very long, long time. As part of that change one thought I felt needed to be implemented is that if a woman was misled into a sexual relationship by a man and subsequently became pregnant that a penalty be imposed for using fraud and placing her in a hazardous position that she would have avoided had the man been truthful.

In other words men would have to be responsible for their sperm in more ways than just paternity/child support. The current system, as a result of years of women having no rights, has given us the current situation where the hazardous effects of pregnancy are largely and completely on the shoulders of the woman despite that pregnancy requiring an equal interaction. Allowing men off the hook for the full measure of their responsibility/liability has more or less been codified in the society and we all know that society at large and legally still says the woman "got pregnant" and places the Scarlet P so to speak while making no requirement of the man the sperm came from except child support.

One thing I suggested is that when the woman has to go for doctor visits that the man the sperm came from must go as well. Equal responsibility. I went even further and suggested that if the woman suffers morning sickness then the man the sperm came from should be made to have induced nausea. I know that sounds extreme to some but why is it only the woman who should experience all of these things when it was supposedly "two to tango"? In other words just because the "dance" ended doesn't mean the woman should pay nearly all of the bill for the band.

Perhaps if we did these things men would look at the release of their sperm as having consequences beyond writing a check. Certainly women can and do face consequences way beyond potentially giving birth and raising the child.

I was saying (and still say) boys at puberty should have the stuff "shut down" so that no sperm escapes if they try anything with anybody... even themselves. This puts exactly 1/2 the "don't do it" on the males, it also keeps sperm away from the girl or woman, it ensures the boy doesn't become a "father" (ha!) before he's emotionally ready, and it might even tamp down the incessant need to screw something the male gender always seem to be thinking about. I don't know if any of this is true or can be done, but I am absolutely in the area that something has to be done about men, their testosterone, their sperm, their androgens, and their hateful, violent natures. Villages came together back in the days of our great ancestors by cooperation and sharing. It was only when seeing another village had more that the men decided violence and killing justified forcibly taking their resources. If you look at today... and especially at trump and this entire administration, you see those cave-dweller personalities out of control right now.

The preachers and the politicos who want to take away our voting rights say that women are too dumb and too suicidally empathetic. My belief is if we ran the world on collaboration, cooperation, and empathy the world would be a wonderful place for *everybody* to live in. Granted, those with out of control egos and testosterone would have to be contained somehow, but how beautiful a place for everyone else.

Very well said. Very well, indeed.Thank you for this.

Paul: "It's getting better all the time."
John: "Can't get much worse."

We knew that the felon's plan was to build up the destructive momentum before the new House and Senate are seated. It will get worse in the next 11 months in many ways. The question is how will the grass roots respond? Since the felon re-took office, the grass roots has built a fairly good foundation that we need to build upon constantly in the next year. That is, of course, only one option, but is definitely the one with the best potential.

George: "We could change the world."

...put in charge.

I hate to imagine what a much smarter more calculating villain could have done.

My genuine worry was that they would ride the Biden economy down to the runway and get off the plane to great fanfare and credit-taking in order to win the midterms and solidify their political position before really going all-in on the horrible policies they espoused during the campaign.

But of course they couldn't do that--thank goodness. It is obviously not in their nature to delay owning the Libs for even a day.

We are in a bad place, but the horrible economic and immigration policies give us a glimmer of hope that a lot more people now know what a mistake it was to put these people back in charge.

just to "own" somebody... like that "somebody" would even know it, anyway! Someone mentioned zombies in another message, and I swear that's what magas are... complete zombies. They have no will of their own, and can't even find the brains to eat the brains that would allow them to continue!

Or how low we have been pushed. It's essential that we push back. I take comfort in that we don't have throngs of Nazis marching through the streets by torch light. Well, there was that one time, but it didn't go so well for them. Now we have throngs of people protesting against them, which makes a big difference.

and trying to keep food in the house, I'm right there with nothing left to lose. Looking at the selection of green bell peppers a few minutes ago at the store, and the poor shape they were in at 3.99 each, I let lose with a very loud outburst to nobody in particular of "God Damn that stupid fucking Trump! That asshole needs to be machine-gunned down where he stands, along with every maga who voted for him!"

Like I said... it was to no one in particular (the store wasn't busy), and no one was around who probably heard me. And if they did, they skedaddled away from me pretty damned fast! (LOL)

But I'm sick of paying the highest prices in my life for food that looked like *that*!
