...wasn't immediately kicked out of the fold and sent into the political wilderness.

I disagreed with John McCain on almost every political point, but he suffered more in service to this country than anyone in the entire family line of Emperor Tangerine. That made McCain a sucker and a loser in his gnat-sized brain.

Since that time it has been a steady downhill slide of elevating zeros over heroes--all the way down to Secretary Pete.

But at some point that is going to come back to haunt the GOP--I truly believe that. And Senator Kelly is a great example of how it starts.

I will see your zeros Mr. President; and raise you our heroes....
