Kevin Costner Presents: The First Christmas

First Thoughts
I missed the 1st 45 minutes.

It seems like he borrowed a little from Ken Burns. Interviews with knowlegible people and ad narration (by Costner).

He didn't make it very pretty. The conditions of the time were barbaric and he showed it

Lastly, Mary is definitely Middle Eastern looking down to the brown (not blue) eyes, dark complected and not fair skinned and dark wavy hair.

Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm finding it interesting.
