Eileen Higgins Blows It Out In Miami, Wins 59%-40%!!!

In 2023 Democrats flipped Jacksonville, the largest city in Florida. Tonight we flipped Miami, Florida’s second largest city. It is a tough road back in Florida but we are making progress everyone!

This was a runoff election. Sounds to me like the turnout was in line with a special election.

But the population of the City of Miami proper is only about 450,000. Even so, that means less than half are registered to vote.

11. Francis Suarez, the current mayor, won with about 21,000 votes both times. Turnout for Miami Mayor is usually very low

A Democrat flipped a Georgia State House seat in a deep red district and a Democrat won re-election as mayor in Albuquerque, NM.
Things are definitely looking positive going into the 2026 mid terms.

Flim Flam Man must be having a hissy fit about now, that's if he can stay awake long enough for that hissy fit.
