I grew up fishing in the Gulf of Mexico with my dad, so I've been in a small boat on the water with no land in sight. Maybe that's why I'm so damned outraged every time I think about it.
My closing comment was
"You save people who are shipwrecked, you don't bomb them to oblivion. They probably weren't drug smugglers, they were just boaters - or maybe they were drug dealers, but now we'll never know, will we?"
