Trump Aides Beg Him to Stop Blaming Biden for His Own Mess

Weary aides to President Donald Trump want him to stop making fantastical claims about the economy and pinning woes on his predecessor, according to a new report.
White House officials are urging Trump not to dismiss concerns from tens of millions of Americans about the cost-of-living crisis and rising food prices, and to stop pointing the finger at former President Joe Biden, who left office in January.
Trump, whose net worth is estimated at more than $6 billion, has frequently dismissed suggestions that Americans are experiencing severe financial anxiety or struggling with affordability, calling such concerns a hoax or a con job pushed by Democrats.
He has also routinely suggested that if Americans are struggling to afford everyday items, it is Bidens fault.

(20,506 posts)Both the younger ones gave me their Christmas lists. They think I am swimming in money. Their parents are doing very well financially. Plus, I just put $1,000 each into their College Funds. My husband and I have been doing that annually since they were born. They are 12 and 14 currently.
The eldest is 28, independent, works at Mayo, and owns her own house. She gets little things throughout the year that she treasures, such as hand made costume and Renaissance clothing accessories. I will give my girls some money and scratch-offs in their Christmas cards and they can get what they want.
As for myself, I am going to shop for a Keurig coffee maker after Christmas. It is just me now, and I prefer fresh coffee than warming it up in the microwave from a small pot made the day before. The coffee downstairs in the dining room is okay from the large machine, but it's instant.
As for everything else costing more due to Trump's stupid tariffs, I spend less on trivial things, but more for things my Business needs like fabrics, sewing supplies, Groceries, etc. I need new glasses soon and I know they will cost a good 30% more than from 3 years ago, even from Costco.

It's hilarious that Sclump's flunkies are complaining about this! Didn't they notice that blaming everything on somebody else and dismissing any fact he doesn't like are SOP for that Orange Hellbeast, before they signed on to join his corps of boot-lickers? How could they NOT be aware of that? Did they fall asleep in early 2015 and not wake up until just now?
I'm sure it gets tiresome, but I can't feel one shread of sympathy for them, because THIS IS WHAT THEY SIGNED ON FOR! If they were really too stupid to know to know that, I still don't feel sorry for anyone who chooses to serve this corruption-riddled mess of an administration deserves whatever unpleasantness they get! Phooey on them!
What's that old saying about beds? Oh, yeah, you made your own beds, Trumpist toadies. So you're just going to have to lie in them!
