Man, that whole story makes my skin crawl. Stuff like this messes with your head fast. 6. As part of some stupid school program we visited the county jail.

After the inside tour, the sheriff took us all outside to view the confinement cells.

They were 2 foot x 2 foot holes in the ground about 6 feet deep.

Yup, he said they used to place the 'bad guys' in the hole for a few hours to mellow them out.
