Big Oil in subsidies, just to drop gasoline prices has everyone fooled.

Gas here in Pennsylvania is $2.99 at Costco. My Prius takes around seven gallons, so a tank is usually just over $20. The last time I looked over a nice steak, it was close to $30. I’ve more or less given up beef.

and prices have risen over the last 3 months for which there is data (July thru September) by 0.9%, which annualizes to roughly 3.6% (using the actual index numbers and the proper formula that includes compounding, it also comes to 3.6%). That's 1.8 X the Fed's target rate

According to the admin's own numbers.

So when do lower prices on day one take effect?

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=20846218

The CPI includes food and energy, it's the CORE CPI that excludes these two items. (Some people are harping on lower gasoline prices -- these are included in the CPI, and still the CPI inflation rate is going up and up)

Wave at a $30 roast.

If it's not marked down, dinner is a frozen pizza, also on sale.

It takes time and driving to fight the system.

BTW: screw the stores that think I need 4 of anything just to get a better price. I'm 70 and don't have the big house anymore. Thanks Bush!

"Americans must learn to adjust to a lower standard of living". Kinda sucks, but for the first time he's offering a solution, and I'm sure the Maga faithful will be more than happy to lower their standard of living to own the libs.

Just ask the farmers in the midwest how happy they are now that they're owning the libs.

Coffee is easily 25% higher and simple ground beef is just not on our list due to its excessive costs. Grocery inflation has hit a four year high and degenerate trump's best and only solution is "get used to it..."

No. I don't think I will get used to it. Try again, plaque-for-brains.

Food and housing aren’t optional and their prices are unreal. Utilities have been through the roof, too. Gasoline is really the only thing you can count as a necessity where prices are holding.
