Astronaut: Specimen.
Emperor of France: Neapolitan!
And may Santa bring you many struffoli's and sfogliatelle.

(6,472 posts)2. I love the sfogliatelle especially the hint of orange flavor in them. And they haven't been turned ugly like cannolis
which use anything but ricotta or mascarpone cheese or have those silly chocolate bits (probably Hershey's - Ugh!).
We always bought sfogliatelle at the Italian bakery to eat anytime as a dessert but made struffoli strictly at home for Christmas.

(23,040 posts)3. My grandparents had two kinds of struffoli.
Mom's side, the big ones. Dad's side, the very small bits of dough.
Sure was tough deciding.
Sam's Italian Deli in Fresno has sfogliatelle frozen, so you can bake 'em up on the spot.
Grew up in the Boston area. Dad grew up in Easta-Bost.
