Funny how the "law-and-order" crowd keeps landing in mugshots. Judges rarely scrap bail altogether; they usually toss a number on there, even for nasty DV cases. Down here in Orange County, CA Ive sat through enough arraignments to know it takes something extra ugly for the court to stamp "NO BOND."
Had to spring my cousin on a DUI last year and used Future Bail Bonds in Santa Ana: 10 % fee, e-sign the docs, and he was out by supper. But if the docket says no bail, even the slickest bonds crew is useless.
