Would Trump ever resign due to his failing mental capacity?

You are probably thinking hell no, but would he do it to, yet again, escape responsible for his criminal actions?

I can hear the GOP saying, "You can proscute a man who suffers from dementia." "Shame in the Democrats for wanting to do so."

He's about saving his own skin more than anything.

But I seriously doubt it will ever get to that point.

And he has stolen more money from the US than he or his family can
spend in many lifetimes.

That would take honest self awareness and humility, which are alien to the Stable Genius' character. He is still selling the 2020 stolen election lie despite overwhelming evidence against it.

It is more likely that the Secret Service would have to evict him from the Oval Office in the unlikely event of a 25th Amendment invocation or an impeachment conviction.

and no matter what he does, the Supreme Court would hold that his conduct was immune from prosecution.

The only way the 25th Amendment could work is if he was so incapacitated mentally that he couldn’t claim to be capable of discharging his duties. But that wouldn’t be a resignation.

Narcissists can't admit they are wrong. It's fundamental to their disorder.

As I understand it, inside they are filled with self-doubt and shame. Their egos are unable to accept that they make mistakes. People with healthy egos can say "I messed up, I'm sorry, I'll do better next time" and move forward with their lives. Narcissists can't do that. The internal shame overwhelms them, so they create a fiction that they're never wrong. They are victims of everybody else's mistakes.

Trump can't admit failure and that makes him an extraordinarily weak person. Weak people with power are very dangerous. I think most dictators fit in this category and history shows the wreckage they leave behind.

Just kidding, of course he's declining. His Ego won't let him admit it. And on top of that all the sycophants are still telling him how great he is. And as long as he has that he will unwittingly let them prop him up in his chair and look like the drooling fool that he is.

Couchlover won't accept a condition that doesn't let him run for two terms of his own, which he'd be prohibited from if he were to take office before January 21, 2027.

So...even if the bastard dies he'll be president until then. Yesterday we learned that the White House is planning to send out surrogates to try to build support for Trump's actions. Between them, an autopen for signing the few bills this Congress will let through and CGI-generated videos they don't even need a live Trump to accomplish their goals.

Too many knives out for him and he knows it.

Or he would flee to another country.
