Update: Well, this cool protest song has turned into a debate about AI, which is a very complicated issue that I am not in the least qualified to participate in. All I know is that this song is very COOL and you will enjoy it. I hope you listen.

is a thumbs-up for fraud and corporate robber barons. It's a thumbs-down for real artists and real expression.

It's disgusting and unethical.

It's digital slavery.

companies as another part of the training:

These are incredibly unethical companies producing incredibly unethical tools.

This is the opposite of what Bob Marley and other artists have stood for.

something real to say. There are real artists out there getting less attention as AI slop that's fake art gets people's attsntion.

Supporting genAI slop supports the AI bros who support Trump.

I wish you'd meet some of the artists this AI crap has hurt. Some of them are nearly suicidal.

I mean, I appreciate the sentiment, but it would be nice to get a little bit of human talent involved if we're going to be resisting.

It's surprising to see any DUers thinking AI slop is fine.

aren't AI, but all the others are.

Unlike some channels that are apparently only clickbait, that channel was set up by someone opposed to Trump.

But using AI tools trained on stolen intellectual property is NOT the way to write protest songs. It's all AI. It's possible he didn't write a single word of the lyrics, just asked AI to create the lyrics for him.

Ai music and images, in all those music videos. Trying out different types of music and images in the hope of finding something effective. Averaging nearly 20 videos a month for 4 months.

You can't do real protest songs using tools that epitomize theft and exploitation by AI bros and corporations backing Trump. What he's doing is misguided.

I don't know if he isn't aware those tools are built on theft - even though that theft has been in the news for years - or if he doesn't care about the theft. But by using AI, he's given a thumbs-up to that theft and exploitation, and it completely undercuts his anti-Trump message.
