Turned OFF the automatic update function on my 8yr old iPhone and iPad.
Apple is now pushing some kind of update that promises a whole new experience.
Over the years Ive had all I can stand of whole new experiences, the last one being upgrading my computer to Win11. Fortunately I can turn off the MS CoPilot.

(160 posts)My iPhone has been declared obsolete by Apple. I guess I wont be getting anymore updates promising a whole new experience.

(128,785 posts)Some things look a bit different and it seems to be faster. The camera app has a few new bells and whistles but I'm still as homely as ever so it wasn't any help there. A new Preview app appeared that might be useful. Otherwise I wouldn't call it life-changing but it's OK.
