(103,739 posts)Makes me tear up! And I know I'm going to cry when he does leave us.
But my favorite(s) ...the entire catalogue of The Dick Van Dyke Show.

(19,130 posts)Key Villain Roles:
Columbo ("Negative Reaction," 1974): He played a manipulative photographer who murders his wife, a role so against type that audiences were shocked, with some even confronting him in public.
Matlock (1986): Van Dyke portrayed a judge who was secretly a cold-blooded killer, a character he enjoyed playing because it was so genuinely bad.

(14,158 posts)A villain who looked just like his doctor character! The "evil twin" trope.
Collimator
(2,135 posts)His character was affable but stuck in his ways. He wasn't willing to learn new medical techniques and risked his patients' health with his stubbornness.
