Jim Bakker had been assassinated and Tammy Faye had been left a widow. But Jim and Tammy Faye didn't get political back then, so I don't think anything like that would've happened in a million years. I think Jim gets political today when he's selling his Apocalypse-prep barrels of freezer dried food. It's expected of preachers today.
