15. I was just listening to the Met Opera Andea Chenier yesterday. Grim as can be. The French machine (not on stage)

And the quiz concerned “in which opera are the most people killed”.

As a pacifist, my blood was curdling. (The worst was Dialogues of the Camelites) which I can’t listen to or even think of.

I almost universally detest opera plots but they were the “soap operas” of their day.

The Buddha’s first sermon was “The World is on Fire” … and things haven’t changed. May be worse.

Those are the exact ages of Rob Reiner and Michele Singer, his wife.

This would ruin my night and my week. Rob has been one of my favorite people in TV and film since I was pre-school.

shocking and unbelievable news. He was everywhere in Hollywood media, a political spokesperson in media frequently —a larger than life type persona. And now such a shocking death will have a huge story that will never quit.

Not many celebrities are stabbed to death. I’m still in total shock.
