This is something we need to keep in mind--the weaker Trump becomes, the harder he'll push to bring the whole house down and make elections utterly irrelevant.

Once you invite the vampire in, he/she is really hard to vanquish. Despite that, I think it makes 2026 all the more important, as in hair-on-fire important.

With Agent Orange, there's also the element of time, something he can't make irrelevant. He's aging terribly, his mind is loaded with cobwebs and delusions and . . . everyone dies eventually. Then we'll be dealing the desperation of sycophants, the Great Battle for the King's Crown. Though there appears to be some fracturing in Republican and MAGA circles, it's not enough. At least not yet.

The 2026 election will be our Last Chance Corral.
