I awoke on Saturday to find I had NO communications functioning at all, for 18 hours! No cell phone service, no internet, not even analogue radio!

The good part is that the power was still functioning so I had heat and water. Did leave me wondering how extensive it was, turned out to be local. I guess the wind storm took out some repeater or something, not sure of the system here in my new location yet but I suspect it was some major communications component for this little town.
