Everyone got the gag here. I don't think she's long for this White House."

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/dec/25/trump-chief-of-staff-susie-wiles

“It was Susie Wiles saying out loud what she thinks and what she says in private to her colleagues. I don’t think she was taking a shot at JD Vance in order to elevate Marco Rubio or prepare the next step of her career. I just don’t think it’s that complicated.”

But some political commentators regard Wiles’s seemingly indiscreet remarks as the rumblings of a conscience and an attempt to rescue her legacy before a departure from the White House that may come to seem inevitable.

Rick Wilson, a political strategist and cofounder of the Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump group, said: “I’ve known Susie all my political life. There is 0.000 chance that this incredibly sophisticated and experienced political operative did 11 interviews on tape and did not know exactly what she was doing.

"The US president was referring to his chief of staff, who he said had persuaded him to return to the campaign trail ahead of the 2026 congressional midterm elections."

That sounds like she's secretly trying to kill him. Good morning!

This is going to end one way or another. And if history is any guide, it swings hard to the other side. When it does, those without an "I really wasn't one of them" card may very well get clobbered. After all this shit, the concept "for the good of the country" may have a whole different meaning than it has the last 20 years. Investigations, prosecutions and perhaps jail. I don't think Dems are going to hold back one bit this time. They damn sure better not. With something like that in mind, perhaps this is the beginning of Wiles putting some separation between her and the regime.

She is anticipating the political bloodbath when the fucking pedophile goes horizontal and wants no part of it.

Just you watch as that fucking cuck Stephen Miller tries a coup to take the top job from the Couch Fucker.

Also, the first casualty in this circular firing squad will be MAGAt Mike Masterbater Johnson, the knives are out for that motherfucker.

Has the personality of a demented porcupine. He has no friends, no following, and no chance. And should he somehow get even close, the line to piss on his impending grave would be hundreds of miles long.

Perhaps they're too stupid to know this doesn't end well for them. Not after all this. When their benefactor is gone, they'll all be pulled apart like rag dolls. With that in mind, maybe Wiles feels it's time to check the parachute and start looking for the exit.

In other news...Mitt Romney is worried about pitchforks. He should be. The reckoning is going to get ugly and it isn't going to just be this regime. Better get on the right side or his 0.1% buds might find their heads on figurative spikes. They were also part of this.

Miller will make a play for Vance’s power and he’ll only get one chance to do it. JD is already getting slowly pushed aside. Rubio is brown and has no chance at the Big Chair. The wild card is Thiel. Will he toss aside Vance for Miller and Vought if they play ball with him?

He and Harry Litman had a discussion about her, and Whipple pretty much said she, like the rest of the White House, is in a media bubble, and they're pretty much detached from reality. He doesn't think Susie is going anywhere.

This interview is definitely worth your time:

I suppose dying from embarrassment and shame is also a possibility but that would assume some level of self respect and I think they all had to have that removed before they could work with Trump.

She doesn't put the brakes on him. She lets him do any old stupid thing he wants.

She's a gatekeeper. In the first trump maladministration, anybody could walk in and throw something on his desk. No longer.

Big deal. Certainly not how I'd spend my career.

because even if we don't flip both houses of Congress we're going to make a big enough dent in the GOP's absolute control that Fatso will be shrieking with fear and rage and since it couldn't possibly be his fault,, he will be firing people all over the place.

I also don't think they're going to keep both houses of Congress, FWIW. (plink, plink)
