I just get the thinking process here with this decision..or other decisions to just toss out things from our institutions. I should think someone wants to preserve these things

As librarians have been deemed redundant and almost all journals and reports are online, searchable by Ai.

Physical libraries are doomed.

My work, closely parallel to NASA, also cut 90 percent of library staff and demolished library.

So, it is you that are wrong. Sorry. Executives think Ai can replace libraries and are doing so. The corporate library is a goner sooner rather than later.

Are the documents already catalogued at the library of Congress? If not, why not? All these materials are, at a minimum, historically significant..

"It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow,"

Goddard's vision of reaching the Moon and beyond continues to inspire NASA's work in Earth science, heliophysics, planetary science, and astrophysics,.

The Roman Catholic Church, the Nazis, and the city of Boston all did it. But they were selective.

In destroying a unique library, the MAGA (Make America Grovel Again) administration has shown that it hates all books, not just those it deems offensive. In this respect they are worse than the Nazis.
