Trump is now a "WAR PRESIDENT" and will demand that "patriotic Americans" must support him.

Will this work? Will his "approval rating" go up?

Venezuela had attacked the US and trumpy attacked back, he would maybe be a war president, but that’s not what happened. He attacked a country that doesn’t have the best military, that can’t fight back. Makes trumpy look weak. He only attacks countries with weak militaries.

This is not going to go well, but I am often wrong but for now I cannot think of this being good. With all the mess and death the mess is bound to grow.

The idea is that if everyone (or their loved one's) life is potentially on the line, people might be more invested in making thoughtful decisions about going to war. It's not just about sending nameless and faceless 'our troops' to fight; it's about sending our kids, our neighbors, and ourselves.

I believe it could reduce support for unprovoked invasions and encourage more diplomatic solutions. But, at the same time, it could disproportionately affect certain groups, like low-income communities and those who cannot afford "deferments" or "bone spurs" exceptions.

Yeah, fuck them.

Hard to tell whether they were Republican-supporting Russian trolls or just sincere fucking morons at this point.
