The People of Venezuela

Can we take a minute to recognize and pray for the people of Venezuela? They have been through so much in the last several years. This post has NOTHING to do with Trump. Let's keep the focus on the people

On the good side, if that's possible, a horrible dictator has been removed from the country. I pray that good things will follow for the people. But I know that it cannot happen overnight and that things are likely to get worse in the near term.

On the bad side, another strongman might rise to power. And there's likely to be a power struggle. I pray for the safety of the people.

And I hope and pray that Venezuela can return to be the wonderful country it was years ago.

The people of Venezuela are every bit as capable of self determination as any other peoples and they should be the sole arbiter as to their leadership whether it's politically positive or negative for the U.S.

The U.S. has no moral or legal authority to dictate who or what form any other nation should have as leadership.

We need to clean our own filthy glass house; instead of throwing rocks at others around the world, should we do that our global vision will be greatly enhanced.

3. Trump is being positioned as the savior of Venezuela

The actual winner of the last Venezuelan election or the Nobel Peace Prize will be installed or perhaps a new Trump America right wing leader.

Many Venezuelans will be praising Trump as a hero who has riddled them of the evil dictator.

Do not be discouraged. Stay focused on the path we are on.

Trump will move next to menace Mexico, Canada, and Greenland. Be prepared.
