1. The GOP base has already morphed the US into a dystopian hellhole, who cares about icing on the cake?

I have no patience for paranoia about the future. Might as well bemoan gravity.

9. I should have said 'no space for paranoia'. And actually I think the article is possibly spot on.

When the east wing demolition began, i recalled that the federal government took over Union Station a few months prior. It seemed connected in my mind — and the power requirements might be the connection. It gives them an excuse or cover for lots of electrical upgrades.

Whether it's true or not should be easy enough to find out. One has to know what questions to ask.
It's only paranoia if the theory is impossible or good reporting can't help address the situation.

The ballroom story frankly has sounded just bizarre for a while. There has been an underground bunker under the White House for some time, but it is also likely to be antiquated by now. I have no doubt that Trump would much rather have a premium hardened high tech bunker, because he is, frankly, making a lot of enemies at the moment.

War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.

somewhere! You can only store so much of anything without replenishing. And there are no filters that are 100% effective and safe!
Just a comment I heard when working on things for others.

An old cartoon from Playboy...

Two Chemists standing in front of their CEO.
He says, "Dr. Jones. I want you to make a container that can never be destroyed."
Then, "Dr. Smith. I want you to create a chemical that will dissolve anything."

It's not like a secret data center will suddenly give Trump tremendous power. A data center needs to be used for something. And if they really had something to use it for there's no reason to even keep it a secret.
