He is spearheading a grassroots movement to recruit US healthcare workers to come to Canada.

So far, since last April, dozens have made the move, with hundreds more engaged in the process.

was a good-paying profession with the kinds of authority they have here in the USA. I know someone(s) who would be all of over that move. Not bashing CA it's just they don't really have the same job in their system as the one of a PA here.

5. Regulations have recently been changed/loosened for PA's, at least in BC

Not sure of the specifics, but there has been a lot of hoopla lately around local clinics bringing on PA’s.

Have your friend check out healthcareinfusion.org for links to local chapters that can help them navigate the process.

My wife and I are both retired healthcare professionals and although we both took mathematical pay cuts in our Canadian jobs compared to our California jobs, we maintained the same standard of living as before, perhaps even better once we moved to Vancouver island, where, except for the Victoria area, housing is much, much cheaper than on the Lower Mainland.

Remember- no healthcare premiums, deductibles or copays in BC (except for dental, vision and prescriptions), and the peace of mind from living here is priceless.
