I’ve owned and sold a Tesla.
I’ve worked on battery technology with the largest battery/EV maker in China. They openly referenced Musk technology and his advances.

Musk is a very smart man. His politics have killed him. But he almost single handily advanced battery technology from the Stone Age. He was the one who brought EV’s mainstream and opened much of the technology to the world by opening patents.

He’s surpassed NASA with technology and intent pushed it to do better. Brought internet to rural areas globally. It’s literally crazy the advancements his companies have brought.

I really have no idea why him opening up communication to the Iran people during a revolution would be looked down on?? Sometimes we need to look past politics and just accept things when they are for the better. We don’t have to cheer.

Sorry. Once again I get the politics. He started with PayPal and built. He has degrees in physics and economics. He actually works on projects and is an engineer in practice. He has advanced battery technology so far forward that it’s made renewable energy a reality.

I don’t want to defend musks accomplishments. I get that he is politically toxic. My point is that some of his technology and intern actions help. He helped the Iranian people. We don’t need to cheer his success but I have a hard time degenerating something that I can’t understand is bad.

Also, his “inventions” are mostly bullshit. He’s one the biggest parasites of our times.
