(5,256 posts)Many Iranian millennials & Gen X & Gen Z who have mostly just lived under theology, have grown to hate the religion itself. They are the ones who are asking for the return of the Shah & trying to undo the damage Iranian boomers did by exiling the Shah & giving the country to Islamists.
Edit: What you see in Iran is the result of not separating church and state. When you mix those shits, you end up losing both.
