If ICE did their job properly they would not be noticed much at all. They could be concentrating on getting proper warrants and arresting the worst of the worst as was their stated mission. Instead they, trump, Nome and the rest decided it would be easier and more cruel to tackle people at bus stops and schools while going to work or dropping kids off . They chose to crash into peoples car and drag them to the ground and kidnap them citizen or not. Dragging people from their workplace their court hearings or while filling their cars with gas. Republicans lied and smiled to us to get their foot in the door to sell their violence and terror and are now raping our families stealing our property and settling the house on fire. Every one of trump cabinet members lied under oath during their nomination hearings. EVERY ONE. Every word, pledge and promise is a lie. Remember that voters fool me once shame on you, fool me a hundred times shame on me.

1. Their mission has nothing to do with "the worst of the worst."

ICE's mission:

Protect America through criminal investigations and enforcing immigration laws to preserve national security and public safety.

As far as they're concerned, they're doing just what they're supposed to be doing.

If ICE did their job properly they would not be noticed much at all.

And doing it "properly" doesn't make it any less cruel, immoral or objectionable.

2. I think you missed the point...

If they were deporting immigrants with violent crimes (the actual mission) it would not be cruel simply at face value.

You could apprehend and deport actual violent criminals without cruelty.

I never believed that would be what they would do under mango Mussolini, but it could have been possible.

What they ARE ACTUALLY doing is far from that. It is cruel...they are attacking the easiest targets rather than the mission targets (violent criminals).

3. Properly is doing

Immigration enforcement the way it would and could be done if they wanted. It doesn't have to be the way it is being done now. Every thing trump does is wrong, illegal, bad for the country and frankly stupid Immigration is a problem that could be dealt with without intimidation, violence and killing if Congress decided to do the job they were hired to do.
