When Ashli Babbit was shot and killed while crawling through a window at the Capitol on Jan 6 in order to hunt down

and injure or kill members of Congress and Vice President Pence, I don't recall any Republicans saying, "She brought this on herself." Instead, she was and still is hailed as a hero, a martyr.

And now ICE is shooting teenagers in the goddamn eye. I'm sure their excuse will be the same for this teen and for all protesters they maim and kill: "They brought this on themselves."

Rest in power, Renee Nicole Good.
