This Greenland gambit is a Trump-Putin plan.

Seems obvious to me. Both are losing and they are desperate.

Its a straight up "belt-to-ass" beating of Trump BY Putin... no planning necessary, just humiliation and subservience from our Il Duce to the modern Fuerher

6. Putin has something on Trump that we don't understand.

You'd think Trump would recognize this as an opportunity to take over the world stage by standing up against Russia and deliver the final blow to Putin. But he doesn't. And instead is baiting NATO into bleeding attention away from Ukraine.

It's an attempt at division of the world for the next hundred plus years.
Europe goes to Russia, and Greenland down to S.A. goes to the US. China gets Asia.
They don't care if it's unpopular. Trump wants the US unpopular so Europe doesn't want to ask for help with Russia anymore.
Europe will be allowed to bulk up a bit and to feel it doesn't "need" US support, and that's when Putin will move.
Trump will invade Greenland as a "buffer" against the new war engulfing Europe (as the prudent thing to do without, Congress).
China gets Taiwan after that, because we're busy in Greenland. Trump never played well in Asia so "Eff 'Em".
If China gets jumpy, we have new resource reserves to throw into a war in the Pacific, and a dedicated gas station (Venezuela) protected by the Panama canal.
Hawaii is probably "tainted" by Obama, and is golf resort competition, so I bet China gets it without much effort.

Check back in 2036 to see how much I got wrong...

Chump has made promises to his billionaire cronies and he wants his kickback.

Just like the oil seizures in Venezuela. He’s selling that oil and putting the lions share of the profits in Qatar.

If he takes military action against Greenland the NATO members who support Greenland will immediately take any and all US military in their countries as prisoners of war, you don't leave an attackers troops running loose in your country. An attack on one is an attack on all.

Influence has turned into action. Question for Trump. Are you with NATO or Russia? We really need to know.

Of attacking an ally for no F'ing reason.
Venezuela is a "eh" mission, but being stationed in a NATO country is an assignment most would look forward to...well, maybe except for Turkey or Greenland.
NATO are like our friends across the street. And crazy Grampy is now asking us to burn their house down because he, what, wants the large, fully stocked wine cooler in their family room and they wouldn't give it to him?
And that's basically what *rump is talking about.
Burning down the house of our friendly neighbor across the street because the cranky old weird dude who lives across the alley from us wants to cause trouble for both us and them.
