He was being interviewed and was asked the question if he thought Krasnov would takeover Greenland. He gave a hesitating Nooo, but then said he didn't think Krasnov would want to pay for Greenland's Universal healthcare.

So any invasion will not be bloodless for the would be conquerors.

The European leaders are discussing other responses to US aggression; this would almost certainly include:

Selling off trillions in treasury bonds, crashing the dollar and causing hyperinflation in the US

Banning US companies- Apple, Tesla, McDonald’s - from doing business in the EU.

Seizing all US bases in Europe and either sending home US personnel, or making them instant prisoners of war.

That’s just for starters- once their potential responses get relayed through diplomatic channels, we will likely see Trump do a double reverse TACO and claim he never wanted Greenland anyway.

The U.S. has no moral center, and the holy works it bandies about are more suited to ancient world goat herders.
