EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/Gray News) - A Massachusetts bakery owner says she’s facing death threats and online harassment over cookies she made to express her frustrations with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but she’s refusing to back down.

"We’ve gotten a lot of death threats, hoping me and all my female employees get raped and my male employees get robbed, that they’re going to lock me in the building and burn the place down with me inside. It’s just been a lot,” Moran said.

The cookies went viral after Moran posted pictures of them on social media, but so did the backlash. Threats came in quickly, Moran’s home address was posted online and she and her team implemented safety protocols, according to East Longmeadow Police. The department says a report was filed by the bakery, but there is no word on their investigation.

Despite the online backlash, Moran’s community is rallying around her. By Wednesday morning, the bakery was jam-packed with customers from near and far, all showing their support.

I thought of him just yesterday..I am feeling nostalgic for that guy, Jack Abramoff etc..good times..lies about WMD post 9/11, Iraq War, Halliburton/Erik Prince more than Google-Facebook/Palantir etc, Dick Cheney shooting a guy in the face, gay marriage bans rather than trans bathrooms, that weird church that used to protest at vet funerals etc, climate change denial rather than mere inaction, factory farming but not the even more awesome horror of ventilation shutdown, the culture wars were less overtly racial, Roe v Wade still existed, there was still a public sector…
