Anybody else getting weird text messages?

Lately I've been getting these text messages that start something like
"The house/senate has passed (or is getting ready to pass) this bill that does something for illegals/trans/blacks/others! Call your congress critters now!"
Usually from some number I don't recognize, no name just the number.
I report it as spam, and delete the number.
Anyone else getting these?

Ugh for ending up on a gop mail/call list. Probably because my number got generated for one of our idiot congress critters; got a call from someone claiming to be calling from their office. Wanted to know if I supported their latest effort to trash America. I was curt, and told them to take me off their list, I didn't want to hear from them again

4. Early last year I got an email from MTG

I thought it was weird. I never donated or even looked at any of her stuff. Not sure how they got my email address, but it is the address I use when I have to give an email for something, and I'm sure my address was 'sold' at some point.

I looked at the address it was from and it was: [e-mail]

I just ignored the email. Didn't delete it or open it or anything. I kept getting emails from her every couple of weeks.

Then, a couple months later I started getting emails from all kinds of republicans asking for $$. It then doubled, and even trippled. All from that same email.

Then I started getting emails saying it was from TSF himself, chiding me for not responding. Pressuring me to respond (I saw that on the preview, I still never deleted or opened or responded).

They are deplorable.

7. Yeah, most of the texts I get from dems

usually start with some variation of "Hi/Hello, this is (Dem Politician name), letting you know about...."
not the conservative pearl clutching no name texts that always seem to be coming through.
