Home security Recommendations

With ICE thinking they have an open door policy when it comes to violating our rights with many homes belonging to migrants and citizens being broken into, damaged, and trashed, I'm guessing catching them in the act rather than the Constitution slowing down their attacks is my best defense.

Any solid recommendations, from si please to complex. What do you have and is it reliable?

Three or four Presa Canario dogs will do much better.

1. Marbles.

2 Get a broken ring camera and fill it with (whatever).

It's the first thing they rip out.

3. Bear spray? Dammit, if I got hit, a mask is the first thing I'd remove, since it retains the pepper.

4. A crossbow? It doesn't have to work, but is damn frightening.

5. For those of us old enough to remember, Archie Bunker's fake barking attack dog.

sample, not a product endorsement, though I might just .....

We use the 2.5K Wyze cameras to monitor properties (available on Amazon and on the Wyze website). The 2.5K camera has excellent resolution and can be programmed for tracking movement and humans in particular. Our cameras are mounted indoors on a window where you zoom and check recorded segments as needed (realize quite a few cameras do this with ease). We also have one mounted inside a clock indoors (not obvious in the slightest). The cameras all have two-way communication and sirens that can be activated as needed.

Even if you do not have a dog, consider putting up a sign suggesting you have a dog (we used to do this too). You do not have to play by the rules with these folks. You could also electrify things for an added measure. We have an electric fence to deal with feral pigs at our property. But it seems to work well with humans who have no idea which parts of the fence are electrified. You could electrify a doorknob just like a fence too (grounded by the person who touches it).

it will be like the Temple of Doom. Too bad it's not the Lost Ark. It would be interesting to see a few Nazis melt.
