Along with a large contingent of Danish troops. Ramping up the severity of consequences if the US takes any military action in Greenland. A monumental move by Denmark against an ally.
Footage shows Danish troops arriving in Greenland as part of a new military deployment. Among the personnel who landed on the island is Major General Peter H. Boysen, Chief of the Danish Army Command. #Greenland

(4,846 posts)I am absolutely taking it seriously.
I have had to use the words surreal and unfathomable all day every day, lately.
It is so hard to believe, and yet it is REAL. That' the point.
Those of us who are concerned, are not being hyperbolic. And the way we know that is the Major General just showed up.
The reports I am getting from Denmark, Greenland, and Europe is that they get this is NOT us. And they are aware of all our activism and protesting. And they are sharing the images of our protests all over European media and social media. I don't know anyone who is taking this casually. Where are you getting reports to the contrary?
