Receiving a Nobel Prize doesn't help anyone.

Machado giving her prize to Trump, to quell his childish jealousy, might help the people of Venezuela, if she can obtain his support.

Possessing a symbol of the award doesn't mean you won the award. If Anthony Hopkins gave him his Oscar statue it still wouldn't mean Trump was the winner of an Academy Award for best actor. And Trump knows it, which is why he's still got a big mad at Norway and is threatening more tariffs, even though its government has nothing to do with the NPP.

That would be the clearest rebuke possible. Then when Trump is no longer in power, announce the previous awards.
