Gavin Newsom with some helpful words of advice for Europe re. Trump

Wake up, this guy is a wrecking ball. Stop flattering him in public when he’s kicking you in the nuts and then snickering about him in private. It hasn’t worked.

He sets up what the reality is NOW, not what he feels might be down the road.
He trashes the President simply because the President needs trashing, to save the country.
It's not an Ego thing. It's the logical thing.

The European media MFers are just as bad as our own media. WTF is up with these questions?

What world are these people living in? Perhaps they could be excused for not being fully conversant with what is happening in DC, LA, Minneapolis, Portland and so many other places in the US. But how can they ignore what Trump did in Venezuela, kidnapping the President, stealing the oil and depositing the money in his own private bank account?

How can they ignore the direct threats that Trump is making against Denmark and Norway? How can they ignore the threats of (and actual) tariff wars? How can they ignore the undermining of Ukraine, which Europe's most important buffer from Putin's aspirations of reconstructing the USSR on Europe's eastern border?

WTF? This is really unbelievable.

The referent for "his podcast." Are you talking about the interviewer? Someone at the news source?

It's not uncommon here to find a reference to "he" or "his" and even sometimes "she" and "her" (though not as frequently) when the referent in the commentary is ambiguous. It can be very confusing.

Could you please clarify or elaborate? Thank you. ❤️

My Pollyanna naiveté caused me to to overlook the insult then. When I got hip to the intent to belittle and diminish me, I decided to flip the script and make it work for me. Insults be dammed. I appreciate your kindness. I also really like wolves. ❤️

He was so protective. Anyone sets a foot on our yard or parks in front of our house, and his ears would perk up and he'd start growling. I miss him. Many stories behind all these DU names. Cheers

Newsom is one of the most prominent and blunt anti-MAGA voices out there today and he would make a damn fine president.

And I'm over letting nitpicky shit hamstring our good, strong Democrats.

I get it. But, it is part of the record. We need to get out as many rePUKES as the Dem Party can. Not sure why platforming racists and bigots is necessary Just my opinion.

Look what he did in Scotland; do you think those residents are happy??
He cut off the water to a 94 year old woman and made her have to haul it from the creek,
because he refused to fix the broken water main on HIS property!

But honestly, anything that a psychopath does that is intentionally injurious should not be surprising to anyone at this point.

I wish people could express their remediation plans with as much clarity as they do their exasperation.

We seem to be grinding our wheels.

We moved past the spinning stage long ago.

What did Scotland do?

Unfortunately, most of the recent photos of real polar bears (that aren't a misrepresentation of reality via AI) show that they are starving.

This may be a grand real world opportunity for those hungry bear. As long as they aren't allergic to Nazi in their chow.

His delusions of grandeur now have no bounds. He sees himself as master of the universe and everyone else must bend to his will. If they will not, he will simply crush them and take what he wants. That's it in a nutshell. I thought Newsom's analogy summed it up perfectly. There is no diplomacy with him. Trump is a t-Rex. Either you mate with him or he eats you. Every attempt by anyone to deal with him he sees as weakness. That just encourages him to go back and demand more. That's exactly what we saw with Hitler both before and after Munich.
